The GC1469 test fixture is designed to perform the tests outlined in ASTM C1469 for testing the shear strength of advanced composite joints at ambient temperature. The fixture is to be used with a universal compression test machine to conduct the four-point asymmetric fexture test described in ASTM C1469.
