GD1623B-113 meets ASTM D1623 test method B test fixture requirements for tensile and tensile adhesion properties of rigid cellular materials or structural foam. The grips are self-aligning and move into alignment as soon as any load is applied. The joints above and below the specimen are of the universal type as described in method B of the standard. The grips are designed to hold the test specimen in a way that avoids slippage when the load is applied.
