PRODUCT INFORMATION
The GD2105-922 tensile fixture meets the requirements of ASTM D2105 for testing the longitudinal tensile properties of fiberglass pipe and tube. The fixture is a mandrel and segmented grip system. This type of setup is designed to prevent specimen slippage and to ensure that no crushing force will be applied to the fiberglass specimen ends. The size of the test fixture is not limited or defined by ASTM D2105; instead the fixture is manufactured to the specifications of the fiberglass reinforced pipe or tubing tested.
