G813-D695 meets the ASTM D695 requirements for compression testing which describes the fixtures used compressing the test specimen up to 6,000,000 psi. The standard shaped plastic specimens are loaded onto the compression tooling. The tooling is precisely machined at points of contact to ensure flat, uniform contact with the plastic test piece (American Society for Testing and Materials [ASTM], 2007).
