The GE399-22 bend fixture meets the requirements of ASTM E399 for testing the fracture toughness of metallic materials and ASTM E1820 for fracture toughness testing. The fixture support rollers are able to rotate and translate as specified in ASTM E399 and ASTM E1820. The rollers are attached in a manner which ensures initial roller position against the stops for a fixed support span. The GE399-22 is suitable for fracture toughness testing side edge bend SE(B) and arc shaped bend A(B) test specimens.
