The GF2412 puncture fixture meets the requirements of ASTM 2412 for testing the puncture resistance of puncture resistant footwear, as specified in Section 11 of the standard. ASTM 2412 requires a steel puncture probe with dimensions of 50.8 mm length, 4.5 mm diameter, and conical truncated tip of diameter 1.0 mm and 30 degree angle.
