The G1608-170 tensile fixture meets the requirements of EN 1608 for testing the tensile strength of thermal insulation products parallel to faces. The G1608-170 is designed with a 500x120 mm gripping section for use with the standard test specimen dimensions specified in EN1608. The pins on the clamping face facilitate uniform load application and prevent specimen slippage, without applying excessive clamping force that would damage the insulation material in the grip section.
