Our 403S-P plastic specimen forming machine creates rubber or plastic materials for testing in accordance to ASTM D4703, ASTM D5224, and ISO 294. Test preparation is an important part of quality control in material testing. This machines can be used with an ASTM, ISO, UL, IS, EN, FIN, etc. standard test method that used a standard sized test specimen. The 403S-P is specifically used to form test specimens at high temperatures and pressures. This table top machine is small and light, and still delivers high pressure.
The 403S-P manual thermal press provides a stable temperature and pressure environment to create test specimens for tensile tests, or impact tests of plastics. TestResources 403S-P test machine is a hot press plastic forming machine. The machine is loaded with small plastic particles which are heated and pressurized into a uniform plastic board. Test specimens can be made from the plastic board. The 403S-P machine allows users to set a specific pressure and temperature that will be applied to form the specimen. There is a water cooling system to cool the plastic specimen at a predetermined time, if necessary in the plastic forming process.
