For fracture mechanics tests in environmental chambers and forced exposure to heat. These capacitive sensor based clip-on gages (or COD gages) can be used up to 540 C (1000 F) with out any cooling. Length is 3 to 12.5 mm (and 0.2 to 0.5 in). Cable is triaxial ceramic fiber insulated cable 3 dt (1 m) plus 10 dt (2.5 m) extension cable. Output is user specified, +/-5 VDC or +/-10VDC typical. Linearity is <0.10% of full scale measuring range.
