The ASTM C1181 standard is used to quantitatively and comparatively evaluate chemical-resistant grout exhibiting creep under compression at a specified testing temperature. A constant load is applied via a spring and bolt and the measurements are recorded at laboratory temperature after the specimen has been exposed periodically to the test temperature. Two test methods are employed for this standard; Method A for unbonded specimens and Method B for bonded specimens.
