The European Committee for Standardization (CEN) founded in 1961, is an organization that develops and provides standards to European countries. CEN consists of National Standardization Bodies from 34 countries in Europe. CEN provides standards to a wide variety of industries including: machinery, air and space, healthcare, chemicals, construction, consumer products, defense, energy, materials, services, transport and packaging.
