Specifies the determination of loss in thickness and loss in hardness of materials intended for use in upholstery. For this test, use a TestResources 800LE Test Machine at 70 cycles per minute at a force of up to 750N. This test is similar to ASTM D3574 Method I3 and I5.
For ISO 3385 the specimen should be 380 x 380 x 50mm, tested for 80k cycles, and then measured for 40% of the indentation force. To test your sample to ISO 3385, you will need large velocity in order to move an actuator far at 70 cycles per minute, therefore try using our 2370 Test Software for foam fatigue.
