ISO 4664-1 Rubber, Vulcanized or Thermoplastic Test Equipment
ISO 4664-1:2005 provides guidance on the determination of dynamic properties of vulcanized and thermoplastic rubbers. It includes both free- and forced-vibration methods carried out on both materials and products. It does not cover rebound resilience or cyclic tests in which the main objective is to fatigue the rubber.
ISO 4664-2 Determination of Dynamic Properties of Rubber Using Low Frequecny Torsion Penduum Methods
ISO 4664-2 specifies methods, using a torsion pendulum, of determining the dynamic properties in shear, that is the shear modulus and mechanical damping, of vulcanized or thermoplastic rubbers over a wide temperature range at low frequencies in the range 0.1 Hz to 10 Hz and at comparatively low strains of less than 0.0005.
