GD2095-353 fixtures meets ASTM D2095 requirements for tensile strength tests of adhesives involving bar and rod sample geometries. G353 grips feature universal self aligning capabilities involving holding the specimen between a fixed and movable member, as prescribed in ASTM D2095. The specimen is attached to the fixed and movable members in such a way that they will move into alignment as soon as load is applied, so the long axis of the test specimen and the direction of force are collinear.
